it is not often that I get to travel to Colorado Springs, CO. for weddings, but when I do it is magical! When Nathan reached out about booking me for his wedding and sharing all the details to his day I was so in, I knew this would be a dream couple to work with! Later on I met up with Kailyn & Nathan together over drinks and dinner, we got to chatting and learning about them was great. We became friends who John and I double date with and I couldn’t ask for a better friendship.

I had to ask Nathan if he was doing all the wedding planning, and guess what HE WAS!! Kailyn was involved too, but Nathan was much more excited for this day. Kailyn and Nathan incorporated her dad’s vintage car into their photos. Let me tell you shooting in an actual venue is definitely hard after only shooting in the mountains with open light. BUT! this couple challenged every inch of my creativity and I am obsessed with their photos! We went from shooting indoors, to harsh light, to a blue hour, to bubbles in the dark! I mean I couldn’t have asked for a better way to be challenged.

Creekside Event Center is located right in Colorado Springs. with a variety of setups to your ceremony to reception. My favorite thing about this venue is actually the white fireplace they have, and the tent that comes with it.
